Find answers about Sam by d-labs, how it supports detergent and cleaning-product R&D, and what to expect around access, pricing, security and your data.
About Sam
-
Sam by d-labs is a specialist AI platform for detergent and cleaning-product R&D. It combines d-labs’ detergent expertise with governed AI to support formulation, troubleshooting, performance interpretation, test planning, learning and other R&D activities.
-
Sam is designed specifically for detergent and cleaning-product R&D. Rather than acting as a general-purpose AI assistant, Sam brings together specialist detergent knowledge, d-labs’ practical R&D experience and governed AI to support professional formulation and product-development work.
-
Sam can support a wide range of detergent and cleaning products, including laundry, dishwashing, hard-surface, institutional and specialty cleaning formulations. It can assist with new product development, reformulation, optimisation and ingredient substitution.
Using Sam
-
Sam is designed for formulators, chemists, scientists, R&D leaders and organisations involved in developing detergent and cleaning products. It can support both experienced specialists and teams looking to strengthen their formulation capability.
-
Yes. Sam can assist with developing products from the ground up as well as improving existing formulations through optimisation, reformulation, ingredient substitution or investigation of performance challenges.
-
Sam can help teams explore formulation alternatives and understand ingredient and performance trade-offs, supporting the development of products that better meet an organisation’s sustainability objectives.
-
The best place to start is a conversation with the d-labs team. We can learn about your R&D needs, demonstrate Sam and help determine how it could fit into your product development process.
Implementation & Support
