Cookie Policy
This Policy explains the limited use of cookies and similar technologies on the Sam website.
Last updated: 20th of August 2026
1. Our current approach
At launch, our intention is to keep website tracking to a minimum.
We do not currently intend to use cookies or tracking technologies to:
create advertising profiles;
deliver targeted advertising;
track visitors across unrelated websites; or
analyse individual visitor behaviour for marketing purposes.
Our website is hosted using Squarespace.
Squarespace may use cookies that are necessary for website functionality, security and delivery of its services. Squarespace also supports non-essential analytics and performance cookies, which site owners can restrict.
2. Necessary cookies
Some cookies may be required for our website to work properly.
These may support functions such as:
website security;
navigation;
session management;
system operation;
accessibility;
fraud prevention; and
remembering privacy or cookie preferences.
Necessary cookies cannot always be disabled without affecting website operation.
3. Analytics and marketing cookies
We do not currently intend to deploy optional advertising or behavioural analytics cookies on the Sam website.
In particular, we do not intend at launch to use the HubSpot website tracking code to build behavioural profiles of website visitors.
Before publishing this sentence, confirm that the HubSpot tracking code has not been installed and that Squarespace's non-essential cookies are disabled/restricted.
Squarespace provides controls that can prevent its non-essential cookies and some third-party integrations from being placed before consent.
4. Future use of service analytics
In the future, we may introduce limited analytics to help us understand whether customers are making effective use of Sam.
For example, this information may help us identify when:
a customer may need additional support;
adoption of Sam has been lower than expected;
a feature could be improved;
a different service level could better meet customers' needs; or
there may be a gap in the products or services we offer.
Our purpose in using this type of information would be to support customers and improve Sam, not to sell behavioural data or create advertising profiles.
We will update this Cookie Policy and our Privacy Policy before introducing any material new tracking or analytics technologies.
Where applicable law requires consent before non-essential cookies or similar technologies are activated, we will provide appropriate consent choices.
OAIC guidance recommends that organisations understand how tracking technologies operate and ensure that their collection and use of personal information is consistent with applicable privacy obligations.
5. Third-party services
Our website and business currently use services including Squarespace and HubSpot.
The use of cookies by those services depends on how individual features and integrations are configured.
We periodically review the technologies used on our site and will update this Policy if our use of cookies materially changes.
6. Managing cookies
You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings.
Blocking necessary cookies may prevent some website features from operating correctly.
Where we introduce optional cookies requiring consent, we intend to provide appropriate website controls allowing visitors to manage those preferences.
7. Changes to this Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy as our website and technology change.
The current version will always show its most recent update date.
